Our 12:00 class

I think our class is really outspoken and there are a lot of strong voices that sometimes overlap one another. Because of this, our class goes by so fast b/c everyone is very opinionated. I love the fact that everyone is comfortable enough to say whatever comes to mind.

Peer Review

When we do our student advisory, in some ways it is helpful but i feel that taking the professors advice would be much more effective b/c it is coming from a professionals view. In other ways, it is helpful b/c you get to hear other peoples arguments and outlooks on such controversial topics. Also, you are reading your paper out loud so it is easier to hear any errors.

time is never wasted

Some students said that while picking topics, we wasted a lot of time. But in my op pinion  time can never be wasted in a learning environment. The debate was preparing us as writers and also, we were given great subtopics. I thought it was fun and we all had a chance to voice our oppinions.

Today, February 1, 2013 we had class in the community room and we had a guess speaker to inform us about the "safe" ways to look for sources. i found the speech very useful although i knew most of it. I'm certain that this speech was to prepare us for the upcoming essays and i thought this was a good way to do so.
